City Road Corner Site Update

After a summer lull where everybody in Bristol seemed to have conspired and all gone on holiday successively, the corner site project with moving again. Yesterday we had the GPR (ground penetrating radar) scans carried out. This was necessary due to the fact that when the council demolished the old building, they piled much of the rubble into the old basement, bunged in a few girders and finished the job with asphalt without leaving a plan for future generations.

Hopefully this will make work easier for the structural engineers to work out where the foundations for the free standing structure can go. Stay tuned for further updates...
